This Airfix Spitfire is looking smart and tight with the decals. Your doing a good job of promoting the kit too.

After a very exciting finish on Sunday, the model is ready. I've had three approaches to the radio link. Fastened the third time. However, after that, it turned out that there was still room for improvement on the left chassis leg. When reattaching the line, the line came off and I had to fix it again. As usual, there are a few flaws, although I put a lot of energy to bring the model closer to the perfect one ... Well a few more gray hair. I hope you like the model. When I cool down, I'll write something on headnews. And the standard question. What model next? 🙂

Lookin good Lis. Each build gets better and the photos with the after market wheels, decals and the exhausts really make for a sharp build. One thing fun about 1/72nd . . . good things come in small packages.

    Two thumbs up.

I'm glad that You like my model 🙂 I'm very happy with the result of painting. Some parts was attacked by Aviation Gremlins, as pitot's tube. I need to stick into a wing three times, but final result is good I think. Today I unbox Sword and Eduard Spitfire models, and compare parts and another goodies.

I thought about this machine because the model makes it easy to make short wings, and there is no tropical filter. The color charts showing the T @ N (t) machine are probably wrong, because they show the machine in the Vc version. DK Decals suggest Extra Dark Sea Grey painting on uppersurfaces, and Azure Blue in undersurfaces. I invite you to discuss the topic of colors.
