Excellent entry, my friend @grimreaper! Looking forward to yet another Spreitzhofer masterpiece!
Welcome, Reinhard @grimreaper Great to see this Sabre being presented here, great start.
Welcome to the group, Reinhard (@grimreaper). This is a great choice and will really look good in Thai markings. This is one of Revell/Monogram's nicer kits and is also surprisingly large. Looking forward to your build.
and fuselage already closed added 20g lead as noseweight didn´t know which colour the IB of the Thai F-86 had, grey or black, went with black in the end

Looks very good, Reinhard @grimreaper
Great progress, my friend @grimreaper!
Nice job painting the interior, Reinhard @grimreaper. The detail that you were able to bring out with paint is pretty amazing. I have reached the age where I need an Eduard set to make something like that happen.
Very nice detailed cockpit. Super!
fellow modeller Tom Cleaver did point out, that the "L" had the elongated F-40 wings gonna try if the wing tips of the Hasegawa F-40 kit fit the Revell one, if not, gonna do a Philippine "D"
wing tips don´t match in size and shape for a conversion you could use the hole wing of the Hasegawa or Airfix F-40 Sabre, but still would need some surgery so it´s gonna be the Philippine one
wings not glued on yet but fit is good
gonna add the fuel tanks
It is amazing how often what seems like a simple conversion turns out to be difficult, Reinhard (@grimreaper). You never see a plane done in Philippine markings, so I think it will look cool.
A wise decision to go for the Philippine version, my friend @grimreaper!
Good choice to go for the Philippine markings, Reinhard @grimreaper
