Hi Spiros, I see that there’s quite some filler needed. Is the fitting that bad?
BTW what stuff are you using?

Fit is good, my friend @alfred. It is just me using maybe too much filler. I use some as it called "fine filler", locally made, bought quite cheap from my local paint shop.

The best way to get a smooth look, Spiros @fiveten

    Thanks Spiros.
I mostly use Vallejo Plastic Putty 70.400.
Easy to apply, but sometimes it takes a few iterations to get a smooth finish though.

Academy made some really interesting design choice that insure the putty manufacturers will have plenty of business. Looks good, Spiros (@fiveten).

Thanks my friend @gblair! Have never used this Vallejo putty, my friend @alfred, but I have heard from fellow modelers that it is very good.

@alfred, @fiveten, using this putty myself and it works quite nice, but as said by Alfred, mostly a few iterations are required.

Great start, Spiros. Camouflaged F-86s are quite eye-catching. Nice that your HAF Sabre was Canadair-built, speaking as a proud Canadian. Too bad it wasn't one of the hot-rod Canadair Sabre Mk 5 or 6s, which had the Orenda series engines, outperforming all other versions. I might like to build one of those in Pakistani camouflage colours one day. Looking forward to seeing what you do with this one.

Looking great Spiros (@fiveten). I am expecting to have something similar to perform with regards to filling when I get back to my Fury build. Sabre / Fury, like the Hawker Hunter, are just timeless designs that look good more than half a century later.
