    Thank you, Carl!
Yes, the Phantom is notorious for its incredible amount of stencils.

All decals and a ton of stencils are finally on ✔️
Unfortunately I messed up one of the decals that marks the walking area on the wing next to the fuselage, so I had to make a custom one of leftover decals.
Luckily the slight difference is hardly noticeable.
Anyway, I hope to finish the build this weekend, but you never can tell in advance what else comes up though. Think we all know this problem, right?

You are right, Alfred (@alfred). It is amazing how often real life interferes with our modeling life. I'm retired and still often have things come up that are impossible to plan for. I was amazed how many stencils are on the bare metal F-86s. I had problems with the walkway stripes folding over on themselves, but managed to save them. No one will ever know you cobbled together one of the walkway stripes. Looks great.

Looks excellent, my friend @alfred! Great that you managed to remedy the decal. I agree, sometimes we plan, but life interferes. Oh well, still it's fun.
    Looking to your next steps!

Finished finally. Well, except for the canopy that is off course. Hope you like the end result.
The air brakes might still need some adjustment to make them more hanging down.
I deliberately did not install the drop tanks in order to accentuate the sleekness of the iconic aircraft design of the Sabre.
Headline story and photo shoot will follow later as I will be on a short break (again 😊).

    A perfect finish, Alfred @alfred
Definitely like the end result. I do agree on leaving off the drop tanks to show its lines more clearly.
    Enjoy your short break.

Excellent result, my friend @alfred! I agree, too, the Sabre looks sleeker without the wing tanks! Looking forward to see her at the headlines after your well deserved break!

Really nice, Alfred (@alfred). All of the markings and stencils look like they went on perfectly. Well done.

Many, many moons ago, I had one of these, with an overhead cam inline 6 cylinder, 4 barrel carb. I wish I still had it...

...I have a few Sabres in the stash, I hope they turn out half as good as yours.
