started with the decals
as assumed, the white areas of the roundels are a bit translucent and you can see the red stripe shine through
therefore first applied a roundel from a Hi-Decal sheet and then onto it as second layer the Siam Scale roundel

Decals look like they are going on nicely, Reinhard (@grimreaper). Nice catch on the thin decals not covering the red line. I probably would have caught it after I had applied the decal and let it dry.
