Got my Phantom

Pick this Revell Phantom up last Saturday, would have preferred a 1/72 scale as this is one big model. Never build one before so I think I'll strictly build her as OOB.

This is a great kit from the Heyday of Monogram, I must have built this kit 3 ties over the years. Decals are decent, the only real down side is, the cockpit is for a USAF Phantom (As are all the 1/48 and smaller kits prior to Academy's release) but if you close the canopies it isn't too noticeable. Good choice, and there are some great decal options out there for Js right now. Pretty straight forward build as I recall have fun man!

Looks like a good choice Tom - another Naval bird to balance out the mostly AF choices so far!

I think you'll find that's a pretty decent kit to build...very nice for the price. Have fun!
