@lgardner, thank you, Louis. As you can see, I already knocked off three gun barrels. Might be safer to cut of the last barrel and the pitot tube prior to further handling.

RLM76 applied, that did unfortunately reveal a bit of imperfections, especially around the nose. So some extra work required.

Just checking in and going through your latest posts - great stuff! The minor imperfections around the nose seem to be easily fixed. Gonna make a splash with the wide red band!

After masking, applied the upper surface color RLM75, grey violet (Vallejo 71.259).
Off to a superb start John @johnb. The paint on the underside looks perfect. Looking forward to your next camo color topside.
