    Steady progress, Spiros @fiveten
Those smaller parts are nicely detailed.

@fiveten: I stopped by and like what I see. Interesting paint scheme you chose for the topside. I can see this is not a pop it together kit but it sure is looking good. Those kit tires however look unrealistically "flat" to me but I suppose there is nothing you can do about that. Nice that Fonderie provides white metal gear. The B&V has that similiar Ta-183 Hucklebein look. Very cool Spiros.

Thanks my friends @johnb and @eb801!

Yep, the kit needs some extra work, but, hopefully it did progress steadily.

Yep, the wheels lack the "bulge" effect, they are just flattened. Since the wheels sit at a distinctively positive camber angle, hopefully the effect might not be too obvious...

The white metal gear is not bad (thank goodness it is not provided in prone-to-buckling resin), but the metal itself is VERY soft, among the softest I have experienced. I would not mind for it being tad harder...

@fiveten - I've always been picky about tires and wheels and it drives me nuts when they don't look right even though I am aware that most will never notice but me. The worst tires of all time have to be those True Details resin wheels from years ago. And I can't stand Airfix tires including the ones in their latest kits. They can't seem to get them right.

Too bad that white metal is so soft as the gear looks very good to me detail wise.
Are they bending on you? Can they handle those weight you glued in?

Yes the gear is quite detailed!
I am not sure it will be able to handle the weight in the long term, my friend @eb801...
Per my usual practice, once finished, the BV will rest with its wings on two Testors bottles, allowed to rest on its wheels only briefly 🙂

You got some great help, Spiros @fiveten
And the positive result from that is obvious.
