"The response to my group build has been staggering." @dlee
@airbum, thanks a lot, Erik. Will definitely use this tip on future models as well.
Exhaust stains painted.
Looking very nice, @johnb!
Stains and general weathering look superb, my friend @johnb! Using some brown seems a good idea.
@tcinla, thanks a lot, Tom @fiveten, thank you, Spiros
Some more weathering done
Looks fantastic, my friend @johnb!
@fiveten, thank you, Spiros. Next up will be adding the smaller parts.
Final bits and pieces are added to the Emil. The antenna mast, canons in the wings, the balancers and the pitot tube, all in place now. Still need to paint them though.
Your 109 is awesome, John (@johnb). The camo and weathering look perfect. You are getting very close to the end.
@gblair, thanks a lot, George. Finishline is definitely getting near.
With all the little bits and pieces it looks a lot closer to being finished. Looking forward to the last bits and final photosession 🙂
Looks wonderful, my friend @johnb! Almost crossing the finish line!
@airbum, thank you, Erik. @fiveten, thanks a lot, Spiros. Tomorrow having a day off, will try to finish the Emil if no other obligations stand in the way.
Final coat is on and the canopy masks are removed. The canopy will be in open position, so that part needs to be placed next including the wire holding it. Antenna wire will be Uschi van der Rosten.
