burt then some guests came and "took a break" 🙂

  • George R Blair Jr said 3 weeks, 5 days ago:

Looks like everyone is having a great start, John (@johnb) and Spiros (@fiveten).

  • Spiros Pendedekas said 3 weeks, 5 days ago:

Thanks my friends @johnb and @gblair!

    Some progress...

Here are both cockpits assembled, the radiators' meshes and splitters attached at fuselage halves...

...fuselages assembled... ...oil cooler meshes and upper ducts attached... ...and wings attached... ...I decided to separate the elevators... Here are the two Emils so far... Thanks for stopping by!

  • George R Blair Jr said 3 weeks, 5 days ago:

Both look great, Spiros (@fiveten). I assume that both builds are probably very similar so far.

  • Spiros Pendedekas said 3 weeks, 4 days ago:

Thanks my friend @gblair ! Both builds are exactly the same.
According to instructions: the E-4/7 had more square canopy, centerline drop tank for E-7, centerline bomb for some E-4 and different spinner for some -4 and -7.

  • John vd Biggelaar said 3 weeks, 4 days ago:

    @fiveten, great progress indeed, Spiros
Not sure if I can keep up that pace.

  • Spiros Pendedekas said 3 weeks, 4 days ago:

    Thanks my friend @johnb!

Slats glued "retracted", but I decided to deploy the flaps, as it was not uncommonly seen in the field, so flaps off for now...

Prop shaft secured from the insides with styrene pieces, so the prop can be individually assembled snd attached at later stages, while retaining the rotating feature... . I will wait for glue to cure as to justify that the spinner shafts are rotating but with no slack. Only then I will attach the cowlings.
    Thanks for stopping by!

  • Spiros Pendedekas said 3 weeks, 4 days ago:

    And horizontal stabilizers attached...

Fit is mostly good, some filling will be commenced, but might be fully operator error: trust me, I mange puttying a Tamiya Spitfire!...

  • Spiros Pendedekas said 3 weeks, 4 days ago:

    Cowlings attached, props assembled...

    Thanks for stopping by!

You guys, @fiveten and @john, are obviously enjoying these builds and having fun, which is what this great hobby of ours is all about. Sorry I can’t join in, but I’ve promised myself no more military models, particularly Nazi machines, which I see as forerunners of Putin’s campaign. But, please don’t let that spoil your fun and enjoyment, I’m nonetheless looking forward to following your builds, have fun, my friends.
