Your are right, Spiros (@fiveten). The more research I do, the more I like the airplane. I think I have only built one 109 in my life, but I think more may be one the horizon. There is a lot of contradictory information out there, especially when you start talking about the early 109s, like the 109A - 109D. The camo looks great on yours, especially with the new yellow accents.

The yellow looks really nice, Spiros @fiveten
109's are indeed great subjects to build, lots of variants and uncountable schemes.

Speedy Spiros! Fast-lane building 109's are the way to go 🙂
Gonna be a treat with those early colors.

John and George, indeed one is spoilt for choice when entering the 109-world.

@johnb, even if you stayed with the "Emil" the variations are countless.

@gblair, one source that seem very trustworthy is the book on 109's in Spain (German eagles in Spanish Skies by David Johnston) - actually I have bought a lot of original and instructions from Luftfahrt-Archiv Hafner in Germany. He has scanned a huge amount of manuals and POH and what-not. I better stop here, with the note that I do recall your Emil - it was a very well researched build, and definitely worth a re-visit!

I am sure our friend 's @airbum references and invaluable (inasmuch I believe that quite a few inaccuracies might be found in my camo renditions... oh well, my initial release Hasegawas are the dimensionally inaccurate anyway 🙂 )...
Nevertheless, Steindl's machine yellows masked, both Emils heading to the paint shop for the light blue!

    Thanks for stopping by!

First drybrushed the IP panel and after that applied the two decals.

Spiros (@fiveten): Looking very cool, indeed. It is almost decal time.

John (@johnb): Your instrument panel looks like you could reach out and start flipping switches. Very well done.

Erik (@airbum): Thanks. Trying to find any definitive info about early 109s is very frustrating. Just as soon as you think you have a color pinned down, you find another source that says something totally different.

@gblair, thanks a lot, George. Always things to improve, lets see how the side panels will look like.

Unmasked Otto Bertram's machine, in need of some touch-ups!
