"I'd say that modeling is just one half of the hobby, and iModeler is the other 50%." @richardms
Personally I like this way the camouflage looks, Spiros @fiveten Maybe not fully realistic but it could have existed the way it looks.
Thanks my friend @johnb!
That's a really impressive build, @fiveten.
Thanks my friend @tcinla!
Camo looks great, Spiros (@fiveten). Old decals can be a real problem. When I am building an old kit I usually try to find some new decals for it, but sometimes they just aren't available. I am sure they will look great when done.
Thanks my friend @gblair! Since this is a hypothetical plane, I will for sure skip the dreaded (due to decals aging) stencils that (what a pity) are lavishly provided by Revell. I will assume everything had been painted over those late war times 🤔
Decals done, could not resist adding all the wonderful stenciling provided, so I changed my anti-silvering (😄) approach, placing the decals onto a droplet of Future , affixed on the surface beforehand. Results, though still not good, were better than yesterday...
Lots of stenceling, Spiros @fiveten Looks much better this time.
Landing gear under preparation, added brake lines to the legs...
Landing gear looks nice, Spiros @fiveten Nice addition with the brake lines.
Youi've managed to inspire me to pick up a kit of this I found on Amazon for a good price, @fiveten.
Grab it and build it, my friend @tcinla! A very nice kit, almost beyond belief that we got so much for such a little price back in 2000.
Cockpit under finalization, flame exhaust dampers attached underneath the nacelles, also various bits in various states of preparation...
