Nice going, Tom... the kit seems to have some really nice detail.

So, after allowing it to properly marinate, I did the assembly yesterday. As you can see, thekit fits well enough that with care in assembly, I didn't use any filler anywhere. Painting is next.

This is an easy kit with simple rigging - a good "first biplane" for other modelers.

Looks great. I love the Arado trademark fin.

    Great fitting indeed, Tom @tcinla.
Should have been a better and easier start on my bi-plane experience instead of the Walrus.

Yeah, but you did that Walrus perfectly, @johnb

So, I got busy and painted the model in the colors for JG 131 in East Prussia in 1937. Used Aeromaster decals from the Birth of the Luftwaffe series for He-51s. The red stripe was painted, a decal for the circle and swastika. Paint is Tamiya X-18 Semigloss Black and my mixture for RLM 63, using Tamiya RLM Grey, Flat White and Buff.

Next up, attach the windscreen and do the (thankfully simple) rigging.

Wow, you are really moving on this plane, Tom (@tcinla). Looks great, even if it has too many wings.

Finished - rigging was last, very easy, only three lines on each side. Kit decals replaced with Aeromaster "Birth of the Luftwaffe 3" sheet.
