Thanks for the invitation Erik @airbum and another great group build. The choise was easy as a quick glance at the shelf shows nothing but one italian kit.

My entrance for this group is the G.55 from Special Hobby. A kit bought some years ago mainly because the Centauro is powered by the italian built copy of the DB 605 engine... Erik and I are a bit of DB-engine aficionados.

The kit, Special Hobby 48066, contains four spruces, a small piece of resin, some PE details and a decal sheet with three options.

I intend to build the kit almost out-of-the-box and will go for the first and simple color scheme - a aircraft assigned to Regia Aeronautica. Now of to do a bit of study before starting the kit.
