    Dropping the elevators is going to take your Corsair build to the next level. Outstanding choice to do this.

    Good idea dropping those elevators John @johnb. Makes it look much more realistic. I’m doing the same on my Corsair build using an old Aires resin kit.

    @lgardner, @eb801, thanks a lot, Louis and Eric. When re-entering this hobby I first noticed dropping those elevators on a build by Spiros @fiveten and really liked the outcome of it. It does indeed look a bit more dynamic. Looking forward to yours, Eric.

    Flaps and wings ready, no issues in getting that done nicely.

    John @johnb - I just finished installing the wings on my Corsair build just as your posted your latest progress. The wing fit is great, much to my surprise. Be sure to test fit several times before gluing. You see those two slots next to the gun barrel openings? Consider bending the small tab up slightly on the fuselage side wing root section that slides in there before you glue. Then push it down flush after the wings been attached and glue has set. Use Liquid glue sparingly to make it stay. And don't break it. I got a much better looking fit this way with no gaps. Watch out for glue seeping upwards where the wing fold meets the root. Go easy there.

    @gwskat, thank you, Gary. That is indeed a nice option and works very well.

    @eb801, thanks, Eric. This information will be very helpful, thanks for sharing. My first build with folded wings, so all help is welcome.

    @fiveten, thank you, Spiros.

    John@johnb - sorry about that the tab advice. I forgot you are going with the wing fold. Should look great!

    @eb801, no problem, I was not at the point of mounting the wings yet. Will use your advice when I will build another one with unfolded wings.

    Not much progress to mention as I had to complete the Buffalo.
    Since this variant doesn't have the antenna mast the the frontof the fuselage, the instruction say to simply install it and cut it off. Easily done and the result, with a bit of plastic putty, is not too bad.

    Just like the instructions, John @john. It’s taking care of the small things that matter. What’s next?

    @eb801, instructions are very clear. Next is the installment of the folded wing mechanism.
