Anyone have any tips or trick on using them? I would like to add them to both cars and bikes as I think it adds a lot of detail. When I tried to use them the frayed badly and I couldn’t get the ferrels on. Thanks in advance

I will post this to the motorcycle group as well hope thats ok.

Thanks my friend @bikequeen! I believe braided hoses will make a difference when used, especially in bigger scales!

Sorry, no experience for me either yet, Cricket @bikequeen
My first bike soon hits the bench and it does have such a hose included, gaining experience soon.

Hi Cricket @bikequeen, whose braided hoses are you using? I’ve tried to get hold of some Tamiya ones but they aren’t available here in China, lack of demand I suspect.

@chinesegeorge, hey George sorry for late reply, I have Tamiya hoses (way to big for my needs) I also have “Detail Master” you can find them online

Hi Cricket @bikequeen, how about putting a dab of cyano round where you are going cut it, that might stop it fraying.
