    Conclusion

I’m calling it finished, and I’ve hopefully learnt a couple of lessons before building another Fujimi kit.

    Now, where’s that postman?

Thanks for looking and happy modelling.

Despite the windscreen mishap, it turned out really nice my friend @chinesegeorge!
And it was a fantastic build thread!
Looking forward to Kevin's Pepsi Suzuki!

A pity about that windscreen, George @chinesegeorge.
Although from the pictures it looks not that bad.
    The bike looks amazing though.
Thanks for the thread and I'm looking forward to Kevin's bike, one of my favorite drivers back then.

    My Stash

Hi everyone - @bikequeen, @rory, @gblair, @fiveten, @johnb. While I’m waiting for the Pepsi Suzuki to arrive I’ll show you around my stash:

That’s it! Just one kit. The new Tamiya Ducati Super Leggera. It arrived yesterday.

    More to come.

So what do you get in the box? Well, a sixteen page instruction book and a fact sheet about the bike printed in Japanese, English, French, and German.

And some plastic, six sprues in white, black, grey, and clear.

And finally two road tyres, some transfers, a collection of fastening screws, and a magnetic screwdriver.

I’m trying not to start it yet, but if the Pepsi Suzuki doesn’t arrive this weekend I’m going to dive in.

Thanks for looking and happy modelling.

Looks like a great kit George! Notable are the two-piece chain, and how the rotors are already drilled. Good to see that Tamiya is still improving... What a slick looking bike as well!

    What Does Super Leggera Mean?

According to the translation app on my phone it is Italian for extra lightweight. Basically the bike is a development of the Panigale using lightweight materials wherever possible, including carbon fibre, magnesium, titanium, etc. That’s all very well, but if you over indulge on delicious Italian food you won’t be very super Leggera yourself………

Looks like a nice kit, George (@chinesegeorge). In great contrast to the Italeri R75 I'm building, the parts look flash-free and will need no cleanup. Looking forward to seeing this one come together.

Wow George, that is going to build into a great model! Talking of the PEPSI Suzuki, I have been looking for one, but nothing available in SA that I can find. I would love to try to import one, but the freight cost is scary, and local couriers don't imbue me with a lot of confidence. However, where did you source yours from? I am assuming it is the Kevin Schwantz bike by Fujimi.

This looks like a very interesting kit, George @chinesegeorge
A beautiful bike and quite a lot of parts, I can imagine you want to start right away with it.
