Disaster guys, ahhh so frustrated and disappointed, was really enjoying this build. Decal tore and it seems a lot of people have issues with this one. Gonna try mask and respray it, otherwise will have to strip everything off, get new decals and start again.

That is a real pity, Anthony @anthonyricco
Personally I think stripping and painting will be the best solution, more work but higher succesrate.

So I used liquid mask to mask off the details and tried to respray the red.

I'm over it now - this kit is fighting me. I think I'm going to leave this one as is for now, move onto the other covers and other decals. If those go well maybe it will give me motivation to fix this one up. If not then I'll finish it up and thats that.

Hope you manage to sort it, @anthonyricco, it’s looking so good otherwise.

Sometimes kits fight us intensively, my friend @anthonyricco...
Maybe moving to other kit areas and revisiting it later on will do,

Wise decision to give it some rest, Anthony @anthonyricco
You might get some motivation after finishing another buid.

Ok I'm back on my Honda everyone, this is what I've decided to do. I'm finishing all the panels and putting it together as it is. It's going onto my shelf and the rest of it is looking good so I can live with the little chip in the decal. If it bothers me down the line, I have an idea to drape a Honda or chequered flag over it. But I'll need to learn to do that. Here is a test fit of the cowlings on the bike, still some decals missing on them. I really like that one side is clear and the other side the engine is visible.

    A wise decision, Anthony @anthonyricco
The way you are presenting this Honda with one side transparant is a great idea.
It gives a clear view on that beautiful engine.

@johnb Thanks man - yeah there is so much work in the engine I thought it would look cool to get the best of both worlds, because the Livery is also so nice. Appreciate it.
