@ij001 I love Tamiya pipes and headers…used to loath them as they were a nightmare….now I do them in reverse and they come out great! Wonderful progress!

Two light coats of Tamiya TS13 (I LOVE this stuff - never lets me down), thirty minutes apart. Then an hour later a 'wet coat' . After that the fairings were put into a sealed plastic box for four days to fully cure. Polished with 1500 & 2000 Tamiya polishing pads, then restored with three-part Tamiya polishing compounds (no ceramic wax tho' we don't seem to be able to get that here).

Unfortunately it's clouded-over today so couldn't take 'sunshine pics'. Haven't yet done the front fairing, hopefully tomorrow, but there's a stack of real-world stuff in the way !

Thanks everyone for the incredible support through the build. Wasn't nearly as straightforward as the YZF, but still hugely enjoyable. We're off over the ditch to Oz for our summer holidays in a couple of weeks so I'll searching any model/hobby shops on the Gold Coast for a Tamiya Hayabusa to build next.

In the meantime, far more photos and a small write up in the iM Headlines section. Have an outstanding Christmas and wonderful New Year.
