@chinesegeorge - I use the Tamiya rattle cans as well as Rustoleum and other brands, Tamiya does seem to be a finer spray... I tend to build in sections and then paint so I do more hand painting typically.

@kalamazoo - Thanks Allan, much appreciated.

@gblair - Thanks George, I still feel like the flat aluminum, titanium silver and chrome silver are too similar. I suppose it's pretty accurate though, so I'm going with it.

@fiveten - Thanks Spiros. A little panel lining should go a long way to get the details to pop.

I think it is the subtlety that makes it look real, Brian (@brithebuilder). I think it is only we model builders that think more contrast makes it look more real.

    You're progressing nively, Brian @brithebuilder
    The engine looks really great.
Nice idea on the paint shaker, for sure it mixes better than a men's hand and is less tiresome.

@gblair - Good point George, I think you're absolutely correct.
@johnb - Thanks John. I downloaded a free shaker model for my 3d printer a while ago and after using it a bit I decided I could design a better one myself.

Any of you that have a 3d printer, let me know if you'd like the STL. I can give you the screw spec and you can use any Velcro strap... or whatever to strap it in... otherwise the full setup is available in my etsy store.

    Some more slightly insane detailing.

The extra details will add up to the final result, my friend @brithebuilder! Looks awesome so far!

@fiveten - Thank you, and I agree. I don't mean insane in a bad way... That little spring may be the smallest spring I've ever seen though.

This is absolutely insane, in a positive way, Brian @brithebuilder
    Perfect detailing.

Rear damper and chain. Waiting for the frame and swing arm to dry. The instructions called for the front sprocket to be flat brown... seems like an odd color to me. The blue does pop nicely though. And the rear damper is partially from the Tamiya front fork detail set.

@johnb - Thanks John, that tiny spring is amazing.
