    Rims are painted and covered with a clear coat. Tires did fit easily.
    During my first bike build, I applied the clear coat when the entire build was done, this caused the tires to have a shiny look as well which is not the case in real life of course, well, except for brand new tires.
    This time I decided to apply the clear coat first before attaching the tires. The completed wheels will then be attached at the final stage.

    Drilling the air ventilation holes (not sure if they are called like that) with a 0.35mm hand drill.

    In total 30 holes, luckily I only needed one drill.

    The rear tire is finished with the brake mounted and decals applied. For some reason, likely myself, I'm always struggling with those tire decals. What I currently do is soak them completely until they come loose from the paper and use tweezers to get them on. If I follow the instructions from Tamiya they simply won't stick to the tire.

    I appreciate your difficulties with the tyre markings, @johnb, but you seem to have solved the problem anyway. I always dampen the tyre surface slightly before applying the markings and they seem to adhere OK. But, as long as your method works for you, then that’s fine as well. Well done for drilling out those cooling holes on the brake disc, those little detailing steps go a long was to making the model more realistic.

    @chinesegeorge, thank you, George. I followed that same procedure but none of them adhered to the tire this way. Luckily I was still able to get them on without damaging them.
    @fiveten, thanks a lot, Spiros

    @bikequeen, thank you, Cricket. Indeed, not my favorite part either, but it does look much better afterwards.
    @gblair, thanks a lot, George. Not much progress lately, main focus is on the Sabre. Soon it will get more attention.

    Did some paintwork on the chain. In total six different colors used.
