Looks great already, Spiros @fiveten
Thanks my friend @johnb!
Some weathering...
Black is not the easiest color for weathering, but you did a great job, Spiros @fiveten Especialy the exhaust stains look very nice.
Great looking, Spiros @fiveten Nice and sharp painted framework on that canopy.
Added all final bits and pieces and did the inevitable touch-ups, in order to call it...
Thanks to all friends who followed and supported my build, in particular to @tom-bebout and @stephen-w-towle for the heads up regarding the existence of wing mounted antennas and position of MLG legs respectively: could not be done without your support, dear friends!
Another amazing quality build, Spiros @fiveten Those wing antennas do look very small but are a great addition. Thanks for sharing your building progress with all of us. Looking forward to see it on the headlines.
Thanks my friend @johnb! Your continuous and solid presence was utterly motivating!
Some birds carried antennas on both wings and also symmetrically at the undersides of the wings. Those antennas could either be factory fitted or, possibly, retro fitted with time. Our friend @tom-bebout has built a fantastic P-70 demonstrating all of them. I decided to go only "port wing upwards", speculating that my specific bird carried this suite at that time...
Looks a black cat crossing one’s trail. I really like it!@fiveten
Thanks my friend @eb801!
I like this a lot, @fiveten.
