Those gray anti-corrosion stripes are very neatly applied, @johnb.

Now there is a smooth satin finish. That black nose is another jewel in the crown John.

@johnb - interesting info on anti-corrosion stripes. First I've heard of that. Keep on trudging towards the end!

The excitement is building! I am really looking forward to decals John!

Made a start on the decals and I must admit that they do lay down quite nicely. The long (2 parts) decal on the side of the aircraft was cut into more pieces because it would be a too big challenge to get them on in one go. In total the long decal now consists of five pieces.

Unfortunately not all turned out that great, the long decal on the side is not long enough, or my aircraft did grow during the build. Beginning and end of the decal is exactly as described on the instructions. I aligned it in such a way that the "missing" part is above the wingroot, I do hope that after painting this part it will be less visible on that area.
