    @airbum, coating and paint will be much more than I'm used to.

    Primer evening. First time applying primer on a model which required multiple refills of the airbrush.
    In this uniform color she does even look bigger than at first. Some areas do definitely require some attention.

    Priming looks great and it will reveal every possible area needing attention, my friend @johnb!

    Wow, John (@johnb). The primer really pulls everything together. This is getting exciting as you get closer to painting the final colors. I found my Heller 1/72 EC-121 in storage, and your build is making think about moving it farther up the build queue.

    @fiveten, thank you, Spiros. And there are quite some areas 🙂

    @gblair, thanks a lot, George. I'm still wondering what is the best order to apply the paints. First the silver for the bottom, next white and the red on top last. Or is there a better way.

    @chinesegeorge, thanks, George. Neither can I.

    Some clean-up done and sprayed primer again.
    Just a few more areas to be done but getting there.

    Looks splendid with the primer on. The hours spent filling and sanding really has paid off!

    @airbum, @fiveten, thanks a lot.
    After another inspection round I will paint the lower surface first with Vallejo Metal Color - Silver.
    First time usage of the Vallejo Metal series.

    Upper surface of the fuselage painting white. Second round is done now. Still some more to do to get a uniforme white color.

    That does look splendid John @johnb. I have tried Vallejo's Metal Aluminum and it works pretty well. What scale is that B-17 you have in the background?

    @fiveten, thank you, Spiros
    @eb801, thanks, Eric. The B17 in the background is the same scale as the DC6, 1/72. I was surprised by the fact that the DC6 is so much bigger than the Fortress. Any advise for the Vallejo Metal, thinning ratio for example.

    Sorry, no experience with Vallejo Metal, my friend @johnb 🙁
