Final touch-ups almost finished, various bits and pieces attached. Next is weathering!

Spiros @fiveten, I finally got to catch up on this build. It’s a great looking build, I like the silver scheme. Looks like you’ll be done with this soon.

"The Esci kit, now reboxed by Italeri, is not a bad kit. It would have been superb, should Esci have provided a more busy/correct cockpit and landing gear, as well as a more realistic exhaust area."

I've been lurking . . . Spiro's the Esci kit being released in 1982 . . . Disco, The song "Never going to give you Up"( you could get Rick rolled), bad hair and clothing choices where popular. How we've come along way. There is still some gold in the " Golden Oldies" in this Esci kit. If you take these kits in there proper context which you have its a winner.

    Thanks my friend @stephen-w-towle!
Indeed, "simplified" cockpits, wheel wells and exhausts were the norm in 1982. Esci did a great job on this kit back then.
And probably, a new tool MB-326 would not be a bad idea at all!

Just some minor steps left for this beauty, Spiros @fiveten
She could pass the finish line just before the end of 2021.

I applied some black wash to bring out details, then weathered the plane using dark colored pastels. Then the final semi matt coat was applied, followed by canopy installation and rendition of the navigation lights, before calling this "Serving under another Flag" Italian beauty...

    Done!

My sincere and warm thanks to all followers. You guys are wonderful!

Cool and unusual, Spiros. Always thought the air intakes look a bit under size but I guess the engineers got it right.

Yes, the intakes look small, but, as you said, the engineers probably got them right.

Great looking Italian bird in SAAF colors.
It was a real pleasure to follow your thread and see the rising of this MB326.
Looking forward to see it on the headlines.
