A very effective day spent on your P40, Spiros @fiveten Great additions to add some realistic looks. Very riskful to drill inside transparant parts.
Thanks my friend @johnb! I was holding my breath upon drilling, to be honest...
Here is the cockpit done...
Looks amazing on her colorful wheels, Spiros @fiveten
Thanks my friend @johnb!
Doors added, also some inter-connecting rods and links were fabricated out of stretched sprue and attached...
Nice addition to the wheel bay, Spiros @fiveten
C/L tank and wing guns attached...
Nice idea to represent the canvas, Spiros @fiveten Decals seems to set nicely.
Thanks my friend @johnb! The decals glue had aged yellow. I removed as much as I could with a wet cotton bud. Anyways...
Wow Spiros @fiveten - you sure covered some serious ground since I last stopped by. So that’s what those holes behind the pilot’s seat are for. I always thought they were some kind of formation lights.
How did you make those red numbered circles? Use a different program? Or is there an iModeler tutorial trick?
Very nice freehand green camo. Very smooth. Almost done!
Looking great with the decals on, Spiros @fiveten Those sharkmouths do fit the P40 perfectly.
Thanks my friends @eb801! Yes, ad long as I recall, they are formation lights, will recheck! The red circles are generated when you add an annotation at the image.
Thanks my friend @johnb! Yes, the sharkmouth definitely suits the P-40!
