    Camouflage on
After another round of testing I felt sort of confident enough to start painting lines on the Zero.
Luckily this kind of scheme does not need to be very precisely since in real it was also a random applied pattern of green lines.
After removing the masks and apply the decals, she looks like this

Top right decal did not came on that nicely so some corrections required there.
Now it is time to get the engine installed and do some weathering.

    Weathering started
Spending my day off to full extend on the Zero.
The engine and nacelle and mounted.
After applying a clear coat and having it dried it was time to apply a wash to dirty up the plane a bit.
I used Vallejo pigment for that which I thinned with water.

When the wash dried sufficiently I removed the excessive wash with a damped cotton.

Some more weathering will be done.

@fiveten @johnb Looks great guys, I like the contrast of the clean Zero against the land based field camouflaged Zero. Now I need to get started on mine. On a side note, in between working on my Raiden, I decided to randomly look at the Rufe kit I have, and I discovered that it comes with extra lower wings and oil cooler (among other parts) for an A6M2. So I'm going to see if I can fit the oil cooler and lower wing better than I did previously. I really want to figure out how to make them fit. Im also going to find some older builds of this kit to see if it's always been an issue with it.
