    This does look good. But please be careful when you are masking off the nose section to spray your camouflage paint. This is how I kept breaking the oil cooler off when I built mine. The tape would pull the oil cooler off the engine every time. Finally I just left it off until all of the painting was done...

    Thanks Louis! My dad usually covers the radial engine this way when he paints the cowl. Using a paper disc formed to a cone.

    Dang it, now I have another model to replicate in 1/72! Love that scheme, and knowing what the final product will look like, I know I'll want one just like it on my shelf! If he would just slow down a bit, I might get caught up with some other builds before I get distracted...

    Yes, another interesting scheme for diversion. It will be my dad´s last Japanese subject for a while, so you have time to catch up 😉
