My Frankenstruts. Haven't made it to the junkbox yet to search for torque links. And the mounting to the airplane issue may have been solved when the original owner boxed in the wheel wells, because now there is a little support for the struts front and back. If that doesn't work -- epoxy!

Fat little airplanes always look better with the propellers installed!

On the home stretch now. Landing gear is installed, with much less trouble than anticipated, though I did omit the torque links. It just would have been too much trouble to replace them and it really doesn't subtract from the build. I'm now in the "waiting for glue to dry" stage so I can add the last two gear doors, then onto touchup and a few final paint details and she'll be done. I'll try to get some pics up later today.

This is really coming out great, Jaime (@jetmex). Good save on the gear. I don't know what it is about this plane, but I have always thought it looked really cool.
