About this Group
Valeriy Grygorenko was first and for most a human being, artist and Ukrainian. His art work, for those who buy and collect Roden kits are a familiar calling card that greets the eyes of a modeler and is the gate way inspiration for wanting to open the box and look inside and start making a kit. His life was taken prematurely by the ambitions of people with closed minds and dark ambitions created the Ukrainian War. When an individual passes, you give hope, consultations and condolences and help the living. Buy gathering with family and friends and remember the good times and successes of the person who has passed.
For some folks in the modeling community his passing hit some sensitive chords. A life taken senselessly. Lets celebrate Valery's life time accomplishments and what he stands for in the modeling community. A good vehicle for remembering Valeriy is to make a Roden model, and include a photo of his art work. If a Roden kit is not available any Ukrainian model would be suitable that would help the companies that are suffering from effects of the war With some comments on Valeriy's paintings would help.
A good proverb. "Say my name I will live forever."
Here is a site that shows some of Valeriy's art.

Good stuff! I have one in the stash as well but haven't dared starting it yet. It looks like a challenging but rewarding build.

Current looks are fine, Allan @kalamazoo You might want to try the rigging later on.

Thanks my friend @coling! I had a few (but not too many) sagging issues with the stretched sprue. I used a hairdryer to take the slack, a method that worked in this case (but does not always work). Stretched sprue […]

An excellent build, Spiros @fiveten A great way to remember Valeriy.

Great work, Spiros. Incredible that you finished it so quickly and with such detail! I am ashamed that I haven't even attempted any of the biplanes in my stash, simply because of the rigging and painting […]
