I've not built anything by Eastern Express - how did you find the kit?

Hi Greg, they are a bit rough, but something to work with !

I think it's the old Frog kit. They had a series of historical and significant airplanes, Bleriot, S6B, Lady Southern Cross, DH racer "Black Magic" from the Mac Robertson, and the Vimy that flew the Atlantic. And the Spirit of St. Louis. AMT here in the states had a 3 pack in the 70s of them, I seem to recall. They had Frog, as did some other outfit I can't think of right now. The boxes had a color scheme on the back? Vivid box art!
Those Frog molds have been around for a long time.

Getting there, it didn't look right so I shortened the rear float struts, just the decals and a few details to add.

She turned out lovely! What did you use for the support wires? Love the color scheme on this one also.

Allan, it turned out beautifully. One of Spitfires predesessors, you can see what was to come.

Thanks Greg, the wires are 0.3 mm brass from model railway shop.

Thanks Bernard, I guess the heritage is there.
