About this Group

Aircraft designed or modified to fly from water. Group build running September 1, 2016 thru March 1 2017.

A few ground rules:

1. New build
2. Can be any available plastic, resin or vacuform kit. Any era, any scale. If you’d like to scratchbuild one, go for it!
3. No what-ifs please. Aircraft can be military or civilian in the following categories: flying boats (Sunderland, PBY). seaplanes (He-115 etc.), naval type floatplanes (Kingfisher, Rufe), land planes modified with floats (Wildcatfish, Cessna 185), racers (Supermarine S6), and helicopters.
4. Build will start September 1, 2016 and will conclude March 1 2017. You can start posting finished builds the last week of February, 2017. I hope that’s enough time for everyone to get a build in around all the upcoming holidays.
