    OK, so I'm finally going to complete a group build. Got some aftermarket decals and decided on the Navy version. Liked the gray and white paint job. Not a lot of parts but lots of rivets that will have to go. This is a big bird, even in 1/72 scale, and after taking some pics at the AF Museum in Dayton it got even bigger.

    Looks like an original box. The second(?) issue was in Coast Guard markings, and there was also a "Heritage" edition.

    I did one of those a while back...tried to base it on the one in the pic. Don't think mine had the raft, though (if it did, I didn't use it).

    From what I've been able to ascertain it's the original 1957 boxing. Got the info from this site
