Time for another big RAF Fighter on the bench . I got some Xttra decals and quick boost air scoops coming . Starting with the cockpit tonight . Scratch build the throttles and added some extra detail . Few other cockpit parts t clean up then time to start spraying some color .

Great start on the interior, the scratch build controls do add a lot of detail.

Good to see another Airfix kit on your workbench, Brian, the Javelin’s one of my favourite jets.

Spent the last few days working on the cockpit . I sprayed three various shades of black to give it that weathered look . Used model master and tamiya paints for the detailing , I weathered the area where the feet rubbed off paint with dry brushing model master silver . Once I finish the forward section ill start o the act section . Got the super nice Xtradecals , quickbosst air scoops and brass pitot tubes in the mail .

Nice trick on fitting those cans, my friend @f-104nut!

Before installing the wheel wells i sprayed withem with Tamiya LP-11 areas need to be covered that the airbrush cant reach after installed . They will get sprayed again on the model when the bottom get sprayed with metal coat . When it came time to glue the intake lip on there was a small gap between the intke lip and fuseloge . I filled it with brsuhing mr color surfacer 1500 primder on then sanding oce dry . Wing installation was noit bad left wing went on great had some issues with the right wing which was easy to fix . Amazed at the size of the surface this plane was massive . Still plenty more ahead stay tuned .
