Interior looks great, John (@j-healy). When I first saw the photo etch in this kit, I was worried that it would make it unnecessarily complex. I looks like the etch really adds something to the overall look of the build. Well done sticking with all the small metal parts.

It is really starting to look like a plane, John (@j-healy). I really like the way the horizontal surfaces fit into the fuselage so cleanly. If only the wings would go on like that.

Wing day! I got an acceptable fit for the control surfaces through some careful cutting and sanding. Remove the little tabs in the control surface recesses. They’re useless and hinder the final fit. The leading edges of each flap need sanding. I omitted a small part that fits between the ailerons and outer flaps. No good could come of installing it. I’ll fill the small gap in that area with plastic card cut to fit. Once the wings are installed, it should all finish quickly.

Engine work, prop and bomb assembly. The box fins for the bombs will be a challenge to add.

    Very productive day, John @j-healy
Those fins do look challenging indeed, looking forward to see them finished.

Great progress indeed, my friend @j-healy! I am sure your skills are way above the challenge those bomb fins pose.

They say Red Bull gives you wings….. I learned today that painters tape will give you wings too! Yikes, the wings are on but it really shouldn’t come down to butt joints on a well detailed kit like this.

Nice job on the wings, John (@j-healy). I agree with you on joining wings using a butt joint. Everything else on this kit was first rate, so why do we have to go back to mid-20th century technology to get the wings on. I almost didn't buy this kit because of the wing joins, but I did and I may need to move it farther up the build queue based on your success. Well done.

Thanks, George. I think they got out over their skis with the wings on this one. That said, if you want a Vengeance, this is it.
