I been inspired to get my Eduard Hellcat going by Harvey . I been wanting for a while to do a -3 Hecat flown by Lt. Alexander Vraciu. Here is is where i am as at on mine 🙂

Spent the day off work finishing up the kit cockpi. Instrument panel decals are a combination of Eduard decals and Airscale decals . I used the AK Real Colors Interior gren on this . Next to join the wings on and other various exterior parts 🙂

Another great looking cockpit, Brian (@f-104nut). Great use of the Airscale decals on the instrument panel. AK Real Colors are my "go-to" paints now, along with Tamiya. Looking forward to the rest of the build.

Making some great progress on the Hellcat. Main airframe assembled . Spent about a hour on the brass strututs getting thenm cleaned up. buffed and cleaned with some alcohol . They glued on real easy with super glue. Not to thrilled with the three piece cowling . Took some cleaning up. got the eduard Brassin resin wheels cleaned and ready for primer . Next to get the gun barrels glued on .

Those resin wheels look very detailed.

Nice work on the cowling, Brian (@f-104nut). I suppose they make multi-piece cowlings to get the right shape in the components, but they sure are a pain. Struts look nice. I have never used metal struts, but I am sure they will eventually be in my future.
