Looking forward to this build, Brian (@f-104nut). I have always thought the Monogram still builds into a nice model, especially with some TLC. I think the extra resin you have will really make this one a standout. When I graduated from pilot training in 1977, the F-105 was still flying in several squadrons. My class was supposed to get several F-105 assignments, but we got F-4s instead.

The additions you made to the cockpit really improve the cockpit, Brian @f-104nut. I have always wondered why so many models fail to include something as noticeable as the throttle lever, especially in 1/48. The new seat will make a big difference.

Worked on the noew strut tonight . Kit instructions call to install the wheel while glue the left and ride side strut together . Hard to paint the tire and strut together. So i clppied thre axle pins off and drillled a hole all the wat through the strut . I'll either use a plastic axle or metal axle on installing the wheel . Installed the kit gun tonight which will be painted later . Got my Reskit 650 gallon center line tank which is really nice ! Also pulled out my F-105D T-Stick II which will be finished sometime this year .
