Storing paint always seems to be a chore, but you have certainly found a great solution, Brian @f-104nut. Great way to organize all of those colors. The kit tanks stand up well to the aftermarket resin tanks.

Spent a couple of days workings on the inteior . Side consoles painted with Tamiya LP Black , for the grey I used my own Tamiya cockpit mix . There is a guy on FB who,me came up with a great wash to use instead of thr typical spray gloss coat , apply wash , then flat clear. It consist of 1 part water , 1 part future floor wax and little drop of Tamiya flat blaclk. Mix real good and brush on. Once dry spray your choice of clear flat. For console detailed i drybrushed model master neutral gray . Other details was done with Tamiya acrylics . Next install the wing spare and glue the fuseloge halves .

Nice touch on the drybrushing, Brian (@f-104nut). From a normal viewing distance the cockpit will look as detailed as an Eduard set. Well done.

Today on the Republic Channel Thud Fuselage assembled . Forsome reson on this build i had to d some sanding with sticks on the nose section for clean up . I removed the spne and underside nose beacon lights as for the SEA Thuds did not have them till later on . Nose cone was drilled out fo the master brass pitot .

The brass pitot tube is a big improvement.

With the cockpit installed, it always seems to start moving more quickly, Brian (@f-104nut). Good call on the brass pitot tube. When I am building a plane with the pitot on the nose, it never seems to make it to the end of the build.

Today on the Republic Thud channe. I Spent the morning sanding Mr color surfacer from the seam work . Then decided to start test fitting the reskit burner can nozzle section . The section the glues on the rear there is a small step but you really have to look at it to see it . I did lots of test fitting . To make it perfect you would have maybe had to add shim to the rear area and then blend it in . But at the same time the shim could still through it off so Iā€™m good with how it looks . Like I said you would have to look close . Clean up of the rest of the parts went good . When I went to clip the burner ring it cracked but was fixed with super glue . Tight fit slidding the burning can in so I did some sanding on it so it would slide easier once painted.
