Yes! Following! Eager to see what you do with this kit @flypastrush. I am intrigued but the complex canopy/glass scares me off.

Yes @fxrob there certainly is a good amount of glass canopy with framing everywhere on this Anson… that (later ) task is certainly going to burn of a few hours! (I have a Hudson on rhe go as well which isn’t going to be a whole lot easier in that department) Thanks for following along here.

Spreading out the progress a bit today on my multiple projects, with some work on the 1/48th Anson for a change. In the pits for the most part. The framing detail is looking pretty convincing here. Lots of points to line up for the fuselage join coming up soon… so patience required. (Not nearly as much patience that will be needed at the time of canopy masking but still…)

Another cool build, @flypastrush. I have wanted to build one of these since I saw them in a movie from WW2 with Jimmy Cagney. I have one sitting in the garage, so I will be taking notes.

A bit more progress on the 1/48th Airfix Anson, with some wing and tail sub-assembly work done. So far very impressed with this Airfix offering with the surprisingly nice attention to detail as well as excellent instructions. The subtle surface detail is the most “not your typical Airfix kit” aspect to me - Well done!

Nice work on the sub assemblies, @flypastrush
In general those newer Airfix kits are quite nice from my experience.

Looks like this is among Airfix' best. Reminds me of the superiors quality & detail of the 1/48th Blenheim. Would you consider it a difficult build, @flypastrush? The interior looks great, by the way.

I'm surprised the tail is a separate assembly, @flypastrush. It will be interesting watching the fuselage come together.
