If they're releasing Connies with new decals, I am going to have to track down one of these. That's very nice work you're doing on this, @j-healy.

There was a nice set of resin engine cowlings available a few years back.

Wow, that is really weird, John (@j-healy). I don't think I have ever seen delams like those before. I have seen stuff coming out of my 3D printer a couple of times, but that was entirely my fault. I have the Heller EC-121, the L-1049 Super Constellation, and the Douglas airliner in the stash. All from the late 1980s. Hopefully the plastic won't do the same thing.

Sanding continues. The windows are almost there and the wing issue is well on its way to being solved.

Your build is really looking great, John (@j-healy). You are making me want to move my EC-121 higher in my queue.

I got some more sanding done on this one today. I also balanced it out with fishing weights.

Progress great. Eager to see it completed. The Connie is the most beautiful airliner ever, IMHO.

Good progress with sanding to get it smooth, John @j-healy
Quite some lead added, how much was needed to prevent it from tail sitting.

Hi John. I lost count of how many weights I put in! This is is the kind of model that needs to be built in small bites. Next step will be to deal with seams.

    The cockpit looks rather crowded..

Those pilots in the cockpit have an odd look on their faces, John (@j-healy). Wow, that is a lot of weight. I hope the nose strut will take it.

Fill, sand, prime, repeat…..I restored the damaged panel lines to my liking and joined the fuselage to the wings this morning.
