Well since i have having a hard time getting something complete AKA finishing builders block. So i did some major cleaning of the hobby room and decided to start and finish a new kit. So i went with the awesome Hasegawa Bf109G-6
Cheers Brian
Should be a colorful bird Brian. Have fun.
Instrument panel is complete. I love the Bf109 kit instrument panels . No reason to use photo etch at all. More to come so stay tuned π
Nice kit Brian, will be following with interest.

Looks like you're off to a great start Brian.
Looks nice Brian, a great start !
Another small update . Landing gear is complete . Finally after many 109 kits i have built added the decals to the tires and struts. Make the gears/wheels more alive. Now to paint detail in office then the usual coat of future and weathering. So stay tuned folks π
Keep up this pace, Brian and you'll be finished by Christmas!
Well when its cold in Kansas its time to be in the hobby room. Got the rest of the basic cockpit colors painted. Now to airbrush some future gloss coat and apply the water base wash. Then flat coat and final weathering π
Cracking right along Brian, looks great. We here in Indiana are gonna get your Kansas weather this weekend. And you're right great excuse to hit the workbench. Lol
Great work there Brian. Keep it up π
Cockpit and complete and now to start gluing parts π
Made some major progress this weekend. Just need to do a little fine sanding . Glue gun sight lenses on , mask windows on and she is ready for paint .
Not seeing any serious use of filler so I'm guessing it goes together well. Waiting to see some color.
Major progress indeed. Clearly you benefit from lousy weather more that I...lol
