This is my current build the Hasegawa 32 scale KI-84 using parts from the Eduard Big Ed set and some lead solder for the ignition harness.

It's looking really good, Andrew. The engine is nice and subtle.

Thanks George, still have a little weathering to do. Going to use the engine weathering set from AK interactive on it.

Great work! Both the engine and the instrument panel look really good.
What color green are you using for the interior?

    Bernard,

Another update. Got the XF-11 sprayed on the underside. Applying the XF-12 with a bit of XF-27 mixed in for the upper color.

Andy, coming together beautifully. I like the upper green you've mixed. Is Tamiya XF-11 a silver?

    Bernard,
XF-11 is JN Green. It looked to bright so i added some XF-70 Black Green.

Started applying the montex masks for the numbers on the cowling, slowly making progress:

Andrew, what is your experience using Montex masks? Any tendency to for paint to creep under, especially on panel lines? On the pics the markings look beautiful btw.

Excellent job Andrew, will you use a heavy chipping look?

I won't go for the heavy chipped up look. but it will be beat up

Time for an update: Been plugging along on the fading of the XF-11 and went ahead and did the cowling using the Montex masks. The masks worked great on the cowling but no so great on the canopy as they keep lifting off. I think it must be something with the future as the wheel masks worked great as well. Anyway on to the pics:
