Kick off for the dangerous zone.
It seems easy due to construction guide. But the fact is not so easy. (Maybe physics rules works differently here in Turkey 🙂 )
Though maximum attention to fitting of the engine cowlings some fitting problems and gaps occured.
I tried to fill the gaps by Tamiya putty without damaging details around working area.

Tolga, beautiful cockpit! Impressive detail on this kit, and you're doing it proud. I suspect the cowling wasn't all that a good fit, in actuality.

Are you planning to rescribe the panel lines, Tolga?

No need to rescribe the panel lines, they are still existing.
Due to sanding process some of the fastener on the surface of cowlings are lost. So it needs to be replaced.
For this replacement I have used Archer fine transfer surface detail set.
6-7 fasteners re created by using Archer fine set. After the painting it seems that it s Ok now.

I never heard about this before.
So it's basically rivets, fasteners, etc. made of resin on clear decal, as I have just googled. Cool.

Yes correct, I bought it for another project but I have used it here compulsorily for the first time. There is also another product like raised panel lines...

Looking forward to seeing some Dark Sea Grey, Tolga.
And don't forget to zoom on the engine cowlings!

I have started to paint upper surfaces. Firstly "Ocean sea grey" from Tamiya.
Next step will be RAF Dark green as usual.

    "Ocean", not "dark" of course.
I love the way you fitted and filled the gun panels, one of the most troublesome spots of this kit. There is not the smallest gap that meets the eye in your case.

I see you evidently solved the ill-fitting cowl pieces nicely...and that Archer set looks like it'll save a lot of time - AND look good besides. I'll have to keep that little suggestion in mind.

This MkIXe will be finished in Turkish Air Force markings.
National square insignias on the wings are painted by masking.
Flag on the tail is from Turquoise decals.
Code numbers are home made from a friend ( Thanks to Kursad Albayraktar)
