Oh, My!

Congratulations on getting it to this stage!

This will be finished with the markings of B-26C 42-107541 "Ann" from 444th BS, 320th BG.

That looks great! Lots of aircraft models are over weathered, but paint on B-26 for whatever reason seems to have faded and flaked off more than other aircraft. Nicely done!

Here is the reference picture of the "Ann"..(first one)
It seems that this Marauder has dark green (RAF Dark green?) patches on the nose and engine cowling propably applied in the field. And well known green areas are also visible on the tail.
Due to other pictures of 320th BG Marauders, there is no green applications on the upper surfaces of the wings and the horizontal stabilizators..

Wow.
It was a long road getting here but it looks great now that paint is on her.
Hard to tell from the photos, but did she have 1" wide black walkway lines on the upper wings? I think it would add a lot to the looks of the model, but really hard to tell if the plane had em or not.

Tojga, early OD tended to fade more than the later variety, and varied in the "Final" shade depending on where it was used. The B-26s used in the Med were sometimes repainted in the field. I've seen examples where the top of the aircraft is darker than the lowers. One photo makes it look like the upper surfaces was painted using brooms, it's that obvious.

The green splotching on the edges of wings and vertical and horizontal stabs wasn't always applied. No hard and fast rule that I know of. The green on yours looks like it was to cover repairs or worn down paint.

Before applying decals I decided to attach cockpit canopy and nose cone.

After this process again some painting touches. And this time Marauder is really to accept decals
