1/48 Tamiya F-14A (Gulf of Sidra )

    Another one of those fantastic Tamiya kits . Peerfect fit on everything. I love builing a model where i just paint and glue without using 30 grit sand paper and putty. My only issue with the kit is why it took so long for fantastic Tomcat to come out. Mine will be finished in the marking of the VF-41

    major head way in the last few days . Windshield is painted clear blue using tamiya FX-23 cler blue and thinned with mr. color leveling thinner airbrushed . Decided to try preshading with Tamiya flat black . Then airbrsuhed tamiya XF-20 medium gull gray thinned with mr. color leveling thinner. Airbrushed thin coats to it a faded look. Came outpretty sweet. Just wheel wells and exhaust ares to paint then time for gloss coat 🙂
