This is the Tamiya Spitfire Mk I kit in 1/48 that I am converting to a MkIIa by adding the Ultracast spinner and prop which comes with the coffman starter bulge. Armor plate behind the seat is from an Eduard set and decals from Xtradecal to portray a Spitfire from 303 Polish Squadron. I think that the Tamiya spitfires are some of the best fitting kits out there. Paints used are Gunze Mr Color lacquer paints.
