Carl @clipper, following your build with great interest! That color scheme looks great - isn’t taking off masking tape kinda like xmas as a kid?

    Thanks John (@j-healy) & Felix (@fxrob).

Yes unmasking is a combination of excitement and nervousness.

Thanks once again Spiros (@fiveten) and John (@johnb).

Today was getting the decals on the Hudson and doing a bunch of small detail painting on the Tilly. I've also started thinking about how I want to do the diorama. This photo is my first stab at an idea, but not sure yet if this is the way I am going to go. There will be some figures as well, but I need to dig them out of their box so I can play around with their positioning. I'd like the diorama to probably represent a Hudson just after returning from a patrol, but that depends upon the figures I have available.

Looks great with the decals on, Carl @clipper
Nice to see some progress on the base as well.

Your Hudson is looking really great, Carl (@clipper), and is well-worth the extra effort. One of the things I liked about these planes is that they had really few markings. I had problems piecing together the letter codes, also.

Sorry for the delay in posting, I have had some problems with pain in my right elbow which is making it difficult to do anything using my hands (including writing this post). I have some weathering done on the Hudson and as soon as I can get back into it, I will post an update.

Ditto from me, Carl (@clipper), hope your elbow feels better. Stuff like that always seems to prey on your mind and sap your energy. I have reached an age where something hurts almost every day, so you have this to look forward to. Cheers.

Health is a very important part of life and doesn't come that easily.
    Take care.

Thanks Spiros (@fiveten), George (@gblair), John @johnb), and Ian (@ianfoulk96).

I appreciate the well wishes. George, I am already at that stage of something hurting everyday, however, I am healthy and even better (now), nearly at my ideal weight. I have been working at this for most of the last year and it has yielded great results overall. Mostly muscular skeletal issues these days.

I am still in the weathering stage on the Hudson. This can take time since I typically want to wait at least 24 hours after using oils before over coating with a clear gloss. Also working on the Tilly for the diorama with the Hudson.
