As Al would surely attest, thin coats of paint and taking my time are two skills I haven't yet mastered..lol. I look forward to seeing it all "colored" in, if you'll pardon my colonial spelling..;-)

Heres a few shots of the progress i've made over the last week. The model is totally brush painted and i have been applying thin coats to try and achive a smooth finish. I have used Humbrol Acrylic paints, which are both supposed to be Matt but as you can see the Dark Sea Grey has come out glossy. The instructions state that the sky colour should be satin finish and the DSG is mean't to be matt but I can't see how this should be, surely it would be all matt or all gloss?! Anyway once i've aplied the radiators under the wings it should be ready to get a gloss coat prior to decalling.

Looks really good Gregor. I have brush painted Humbrel flat " back in the day" but never gloss which has to be less forgiving.
Looks like you have it under control.

Gregor, your finish looks super, i doubt I could do as well with an airbrush.

Well folks here is my final up date on the wip thread. Seafire is almost complete - it would have been finished this weekend but for my latest DIY project, which is taking up a lot of my time. Anyway thanks to all of you for taking an interest in this build. The kit has been a real gem and i can reccommend it to anyone looking for a surefire easy build. Next post will be in headlines...
