Bf-109V7 conversion 1:48 – ”Dübendorf racer”

    Hi All! I recxently started to play around the ex-Hobbycraft Academy Bf-109D kit. Te shortcomings of the kit is widely known, but initially I don't want to bother myself with them. After some research it was obvious that the nose really oddly shaped and - those who seen too much pics about the early messers - this transparent enough. Initially I wanted a really early bird so I prepare some modifications to make an early Anton (I have seen some great builds of natural metal/silver planes). I begin modifying the nose section - and took a deep breath - to make an early cowling and same time correct the major shape issues. During this I avared the dübendorf racer Messerschmitts and I coundn't resist to convert my work towards to make a racer "civilschmitt" 🙂 . Pictures soon...

    Some progress. The nose is not the final version yet but You can see where I cut the fuselage.
