That's a quality work, Allan! I usually do my touchups cruedly with a paintbrush..

@kalamazoo, Alan, very nice progress again. I notice the small edge created by the tac-worm, will that eventually dampen off, or is there another way to deal with it when using matt colors?

Looks great, Allan (@Kalamazoo). Touchups are inevitable, but frustrating sometimes. I always hate to break out the airbrush for a quick touchup, but handpainting the touchup never seems to match.

I agree, Allan (@kalamazoo). It is always worth the effort, and shortcuts never seem to work. Looking forward to seeing the decals on the plane.

A few decals and some details added, small touch ups not air brushed !

1. some stencils and roundels on.

2. exhausts shaped and painted, not quite the colour I want !!
1. details in place and cover on with Pledge !!

2. some touch up with a brush,still need to do the green !!
1. landing lights added and cover on with Pledge !!

2. nav' lights drilled, with a spot of red and white paint, on with Pledge !!
1. nav' lights with green and white paint, Print scale decal !!

Your exhausts look great to my eye.
Nice, clean job with the transparencies, you can see your detailed work inside.
I like the RAAF roundels; they look so cool!
